About SAIK

SAIK (Society of AVGC Instituitions in Kerala) is a Not-for-Profit Organization with the objective of creating a business collective of small, medium and big sized studios engaged in the AVGC, across Kerala.

The overall objective of the Society is to be a one-stop-shop for all information and needs related to AVGC sector of Kerala State, to make Kerala as a powerhouse of AVGC sector and to build Kerala AVGC an important HUB - DESTINATION on the global map.

The State

Kerala, the beautiful green strip located in the South-West tip of young India, also houses a very young and energetic entertainment industry when it comes to Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics (AVGC). Kerala witnessed a surge of small but serious Studios who mean business and the quality.

Though Animation as a business and art was started in Kerala way back in 1999, it witnessed an Animation revolution by the mushrooming of many small, medium and big sized AVGC studios across the south and north of this little state which had already found a place in the World Tourism Market because of its beautiful Flora and Fauna bordered by the ecologically bountiful Western Ghats on the East and the Arabian Sea in the West. We felt it was high time to form a Society that breathes the business of AVGC so that the world looks at us as the destination for the same also. And here we are!
